Carly Pearce told Fox News Digital she needed to go on a journey of self discovery in order to write the kind of album she wanted.
Music City was shining a little brighter as country music royalty stepped out for a night of celebration.
The Academy of Country Music celebrated artists, songwriters and industry figures at the 19th ACM Honors Wednesday night at The Pinnacle in Nashville.
Hosted by Carly Pearce and Parker McCollum, the star-studded event honored Dolly Parton, Kacey Musgraves, Eric Church and others for their contributions to country music.

Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley, Megan Moroney and Trisha Yearwood were among the night’s performers, while Pearce and McCollum teamed up for a special tribute to Parton.
