Two taken to hospital with serious injuries after crash
Getty ImagesTwo people have been seriously injured following a two-vehicle collision in Burt, County Donegal.
It happened on the N13 between Bridgend and Manorcunningham at about 17:30 local time on Tuesday.
Gardaí (Irish police) said the drivers of both vehicles were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital with serious injuries.
One driver was a man in his 20s and the other was in his late teens.
The road remains closed on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area between 16: 30 and 17:30 local time and who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
